Iced RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Iced RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced RDA really costs in Nouméa
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long iced in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
