Iced mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on iced: 7 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.03 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
