Home / Iced cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist

What iced costs in Nouméa

We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a iced cartomizer really costs in Nouméa

Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.

How we tested iced in a cartomizer

1. Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
3. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.

• Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
• Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.

Where iced goes wrong

• Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
• Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
• Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

Packaging for iced in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
