Iced cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in New Caledonia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at iced in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested iced in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.23 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.23 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
