Honey pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Honey in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Honey is allowed to say
We run honey the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a honey pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
How we tested honey in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where honey goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.09 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why honey tastes flat after two days.
