Honey cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Honey in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.36 per 10 ml.
We run honey the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: honey in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested honey in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.36 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest cartomizer available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
