Herbal starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A herbal starter kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested herbal in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.01 per 10 ml.
