Herbal RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the herbal habit
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.38 per 10 ml.
Herbal in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long herbal tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a herbal RDA really costs in Nouméa
Herbal RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested herbal in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.38 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does herbal in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
