Guava vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
A guava vape pen from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.92 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Guava in Nouméa reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested guava in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
