Guava squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
A guava squonk mod from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.43 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for guava in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
How long does guava in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.43 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF64 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
