Guava RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good RDA from a repack
A guava RDA from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.44 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on guava: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested guava in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
