Guava prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.73 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.73 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
