A guava pod kit from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.04 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a guava pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested guava in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.04 per 10 ml.
