Guava mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Guava sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Guava mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested guava in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where guava goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for guava in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is guava legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.94 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
