Guava cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Guava cartomizer here
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.13 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested guava in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where guava goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.13 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should guava start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
