Guava box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Guava in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.47 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.47 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
