Graphite pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Graphite in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
We run graphite the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: graphite in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite pod kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested graphite in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.33 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
