Grapey zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Grapey in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a zero-nicotine bottle for grapey
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.46 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long grapey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a grapey zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing grapey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.46 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
