Grapey mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.29 per 10 ml.
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

How we tested grapey in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.29 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is grapey legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
How long does grapey in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
