Grapey box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Grapey in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
Grapey box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run grapey the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey box mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested grapey in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Nouméa survives.

Not automatically. On grapey the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.54 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
