Frozen sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the frozen habit
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.44 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested frozen in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.44 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for frozen in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.44 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
