Frozen squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Frozen squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.78 per 10 ml.
How we tested frozen in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for frozen in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does frozen in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.78 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
