Frozen RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Frozen RDA here
Frozen RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen RDA really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested frozen in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.58 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
