Frozen prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A frozen prefilled pod from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run frozen the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested frozen in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
