Frozen pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Frozen pod kit here
The honest read on frozen: 24 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen pod kit really costs in Nouméa
A frozen pod kit from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.69 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.69 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
