Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at frozen in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long frozen tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
A frozen cartomizer from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a frozen bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.94 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
