Frozen 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 7 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in New Caledonia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.7 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Frozen in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested frozen in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.7 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
