Fig sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
If you are looking at fig in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on fig: 16 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A fig sub-ohm kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.42 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where fig goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How long does fig in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
Is fig legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
