Fig pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
Fig pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A fig pod kit from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: fig in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Fig in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested fig in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.54 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why fig tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for fig in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does fig in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.54 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
