Fig pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Fig pen device here
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.28 per 10 ml.
A fig pen device from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig pen device really costs in Nouméa
Fig pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
