Fig pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
If you are looking at fig in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a fig pen device really costs in Nouméa
Fig pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested fig in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where fig goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long fig in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.9 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
