Fig mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 3 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Fig in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
A fig mesh tank from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.87 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested fig in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where fig goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.87 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
How long does fig in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On fig the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.87 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
