Fig 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Fig in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 100 ml bottle for fig
Fig prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.18 per 10 ml.
Fig in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long fig tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a fig 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run fig the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where fig goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.18 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does fig in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
