Dessert prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Dessert in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Dessert in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on dessert: 20 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a prefilled pod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
