Dessert box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Dessert in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What dessert costs in Nouméa
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.8 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert box mod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested dessert in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.8 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.8 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF32 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
