Cola starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Cola in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What cola costs in Nouméa
Cola in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run cola the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a cola starter kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at cola in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested cola in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.

Not automatically. On cola the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.28 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.28 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
