Cola box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Cola in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Cola box mod here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A cola box mod from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested cola in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cola goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cola in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.5 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
