Coffee vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at coffee in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Coffee in Nouméa reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.49 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.49 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.49 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
