Coffee sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A coffee sub-ohm kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.

Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.94 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
