Coffee starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Coffee starter kit here
Coffee in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Coffee starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested coffee in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.56 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
