Coffee RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Coffee in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Coffee RDA here
If you are looking at coffee in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on coffee: 17 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee RDA really costs in Nouméa
Coffee sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coffee in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does coffee in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
