Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee box mod really costs in Nouméa
Coffee box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested coffee in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coffee in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.53 per 10 ml.

Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.53 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
