Coconut squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Coconut in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
The honest read on coconut: 6 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run coconut the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested coconut in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing coconut with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
