Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist
Coconut in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with coconut in New Caledonia
Coconut in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on coconut: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
We run coconut the same way in Nouméa: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.55 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should coconut start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How long does coconut in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
