Citrus zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Citrus in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the citrus habit
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.32 per 10 ml.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
