Citrus squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Citrus in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Citrus in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.15 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
