Citrus box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Citrus in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for citrus
Citrus in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Nouméa
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Packaging for citrus in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
