Citrus 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Citrus in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 2 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Citrus is allowed to say
Citrus in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.6 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How long does citrus in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.6 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
