Citrus 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Citrus in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a 100 ml bottle for citrus
Citrus in a 100 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.04 per 10 ml.
The short version: citrus in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run citrus the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested citrus in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.04 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
