Cherry box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Cherry in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a box mod for cherry
Cherry sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run cherry the same way in Nouméa: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: cherry in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry box mod really costs in Nouméa
A cherry box mod from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.87 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested cherry in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cherry tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long cherry in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
